Beauty is truth! And that is beautiful.
A couple of comments:

When I create a new object and immediately try to change the transparency or scale, it doesn’t work. I have to additionaly click on the object, even though it appears to already be selected. Otherwise, adjusting the transparancy or scale does nothing. (Note, this is on Safari browser, mac os x 10.4)

The size of new objects is just too big to start off with. I think the default size should be a bit smaller.
What a splendid waste of time!

The input fields won’t take my text. My contribution has vanished into the aether. snfsnf* It was a thing of beauty and a joy for at least 15 minutes, too. (Safari 1.3.1 on Mac OS 10.3.9)
I kept wishing for an undo function. But I could spend a lot of time playing with this.
I had no trouble with it in IE.
Presenting The Residue of Miracle
Fun site here’s mine
You guys are doing some wonderful work!
Wow. Surprised at all the replies and the paintings. Some of these are quite good. Glad everyone enjoyed it.
And just for the helluvit, Stairway to Heaven?
Quite nice, but geez are you guys prudes or what?
Mine is Eve Had To Have The Damned Apple and it was immediately edited to “Eve Had To Have The ***** Apple”.
Plus you didn’t even give me the correct number of *'s to make up the word DAMNED…damn.
Still, very cool site!
I’m feeling a little goofy today, and had to go make another painting. I actually intended to do something serious, but when I got the eyes in place over the background, well, the outcome was obvious!

Fun!
I didn’t look at anyone else’s until I’d finished mine. Freaky. These are fun, I want to do some more!
Thanks for props.
As far as language filter goes, it was something we realized rather late we needed, so we wrote the script but used an existing list of “bad words”.
Would I prefer no language filter? Yes.
But from the museum’s point of view they have to be careful, very careful. Lots of donors and whatnot.
And when the museum forwarded to us a very complimentary email that mentioned how excited she was to have the kids she teaches use this…
well, better safe than sorry.
I had to do another this morning, and it worked fine, even in Safari. I’ve sent the link to several friends, who now consider me the height of evil temptation. So that’s all good.
Ah, thank you! I had filled in everything except the last name. :smack:
Now I’ll have to go back and try again. The title is calling me to be “painted”.
Make sure you post your entry here, so it can be admired by all!
(or heckled. but we wouldn’t do that )
“Adrift in the Mists of Time”
(Only slightly pretentious.)
This is so fun here’s another. Auburn Sky
Fun! Pronouncement
