I tried this question on the newsgroup, with no luck. I’m sure everyone remembers the Beatles reunion in '95 that wielded “Free as a Bird” and “Real Love”. During that time, I heard conflicting reports about a third song that was either started but never completed, or completed but vetoed by George Harrison after the poor chart performance of the other two singles. Also, the reports I heard are unclear whether the third song was “Grow Old With Me” or “Now and Then”. So I’m asking you dopers, is there a third Threetles tune sitting in a vault someplace, or is it all just speculation?
I sure hope not! I really dislike that whole Natalie Cole school of singing with the dead.
That said, it does make sense that there was the intention to do a total of three; one for each “Anthology” set.

Are you thinking of “All Those Years Ago”? It was written by George Harrison as a tribute after John Lennon was killed and McCartney and Starr contributed to it. Don’t know if it counts as a “reunion,” though.
Are you thinking of “All Those Years Ago”?
No, this was during the '94-'95 sessions with P,G & R working with the demos that Yoko gave them with Jeff Lynne acting as producer.
