This can't possibly be a real laptop, can it?

Meacham? Hah! He hasn’t a clue about the power of the interocitor; why, he’s out trying to lay a four lane highway with it right now! Can you imagine? What a waste!

Whatever the claims for the laptop, their web designer deserves a swift kick in the ass. I had to boost my screen resolution up to its max (1280 x 720) and I still couldn’t fit the whole thing on my screen.

I’m still trying to figure out what a Nanomicron is. Their slogan is “Welcome to the world of nanomicrons and beyond!” Translation: “Welcome to the world of a billion millionth of a meter and beyond!” Wow…such inspired confidence!

Aside from the non-sensical technobabble (it’s like watching 24), the images look heavily photoshopped. I bet if one had the right search terms you could find the base pics on Google images.

You max is 1200x720? That seems like such a non-standard resolution. Is that even possible? You sure you don’t mean 1200(or 1280)x768? I’ve never seen those two numbers before, but at least they are numbers that exist! And besides, it’s God’s way of punishing you for nto having a screen that can do at least 1280x1024. (aka, best resolution ever.) :stuck_out_tongue:

You’re just not thinking like a marketer. Even my low-end iBook has 4-way scroll capabilities. It can scroll up, down, lleft, and right. And if you tap it, it clicks.

Ergo: 4-way scroll button.

My bad. It is 1280x768 (I did get the 1280 part right). This is a new Dell Optiplex that they just got me a few months ago, and overall it performs pretty well. However, the only available resolutions are 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864 and 1280x768. Since I mostly use 1024x768 for my work stuff I rarely have a problem, unless I encounter web sites like this one.

I’m not sure why everyone thinks that this is future technology. Dangerous, sure, but not futuristic. It’s simply replicating work that was done in scalar weapons research in the 1920’s. Optoelectronic cascade can release a powerful ray. Some said the ray was even strong enough to stop life.

Just for 20 minutes.
In Rio.
And it can burn dogs.
