This is How Americans Live Today; at least according to North Korea

This is supposedly a North Korean propoganda film. I don’t know if it’s real or fake, but it certainly is hillarious. Apparently we all drink coffee made from snow; which the government rations to 1 cup per day, there are no birds because they’ve all been eaten, and most of us live in tents made from North Korean fabrics. And there’s a random reference to homosexuals. Your thoughts?

Well, the link now says the translation, at least, is fake; unclear yet if the video itself is the real deal. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is, though, given some of the nuttiness that’s come out of NorKor…

I heard that the Soviet Union used to show the American movie The Grapes of Wrath to show how awful life was in the U.S., but audiences kept saying, “Wow, those people are so rich! They’ve got trucks!”

It’s fake.

Definitely fake.

The first one’s fake, but the second one’s real.
