Orig question by knoodler:

  1. This popular doll was part of an Oreo Cookie campaign.

I might question this… while it’s true there was a Barbie doll sold (as Oreo™ ‘School Time Fun Barbie’) in an Oreo-themed outfit in 2001, I don’t think this was part of a campaign promoting Oreos as much as it was a licensing agreement with Nabisco (maker of Oreos) to use the name… especially as Mattel had been selling School Time Fun Barbies (without the Oreo connection) since 1994.
Incidentally, it also created a fair share of controversy when Mattel, as was its custom, released a darker-colored doll to appeal to African-American children, not realizing that under those circumstances in real life, the term ‘Oreo’ was considered to be derogatory.

I don’t believe NES (Nintendo Entertainment Systems) ever produced cap guns.

-“BB”-

@Bicycle_Bill: Nabisco partnered with Mattel to create a fun-loving Barbie who loved to eat Oreo cookies with her friends. Where this went off the rails was in 1997, when Mattel tried to be inclusive and create a “Black” Barbie and included this doll in the promotional line. (And soon after, Ritz got involved, with unintentional hilarious results.)
