This is taking a rivalry game to a new level

A pair of NAIA schools in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference are investigating an allegation that a water cooler was deliberately contaminated during a baseball rivalry game. The Kansas Wesleyan baseball team accused rival Bethany College of putting paint thinner in its water coolers for a Sunday doubleheader played in Lindsborg. A picture posted by the KWU Barstool account with the allegations of the water cooler tampering was widely circulated on Monday.

These schools are about 20 miles apart and are fierce rivals in their small-college conference.

Religious warfare. Bethany is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church and Wesleyan is affiliated withe the United Methodist Church.

They’ll both be going to heaven, but they’ll be separated by barbed wire and guards with dogs.

It turned out that the foreign substance in the water cooler was the paint used to draw the lines on the baseball field, and it had been put in the cooler by two juveniles.
