If you quote a post, there is now a tag to take you back to the post that was quoted. That’s interesting.

So far, the only differences I see are:

  1. None in color, logos, ads and layout.
  2. The posting area is narrower than the window (there is a wide margin on both sides).
  3. There is no quick reply box.

I thought there would be a new look and feel, and new options. Only difference I notice is quick reply is gone.

You might want to check out user profiles, and some of the associated social networking features such as user groups.

Well, the boards are giving me “database error” about half the time. That’s new.

Ahhh, a nice new board to go with my new pants, socks, and shoes (really). It’s nice to get my fall shopping out of the way.

Man, this “.7” version upgrade is cool!

I like the small improvements to the Fonts and Font size selections.
The smilie pull down seems redundant to the smilie panel.
The undi and redo buttons are a nice addition.
I like the idea of the spell checker but it doesn’t seem to work yet and I already use IESPELL. The window sizer controls are much improved.

Under user options we now have the following for now:
Use Invisible Mode which looks like something the mods had, but was turned off for users.
**Friendship **feature looks interesting.
I cannot figure out what the **Visitor Messaging **is yet.
Just a reminder that about a year ago **Tubadiva **gave us the option of seeing up to 200 posts per page. I love this feature under Number of Posts to Show Per Page

I hope that at some point, some of the other codes could be added to the editor tool bar like SUB SUP and SPOILER.
