CNN has covered the Cuomo story extensively. His brother has said he won’t cover the story personally, and that’s actually the right call.
Now admittedly, he should have not covered positive stories about his brother either, so that is a mark against CNN, sure. But notice the difference – CNN covers the actual news, so they don’t ignore a negative story about a Democrat, far from it. And no attempt at spinning it into anything else.
Meanwhile FOX will absolutely ignore the big news of the day, or take one slice out of context and run cover. It’s just not a news network.

I went there yesterday to see how they were covering the relief bill but you had to really search for it. The top block of 6-8 stories was about Meghan Markle and the dustup with her hubby’s family.
David Pecker might approve but that’s no way to win a Noble Prize in news reporting.*

White House press secretary Jen Psaki sparred with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy over migrant detention centers being open at full capacity while schools are closed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Because the people at the detention center are detainees and you have to put detainees somewhere or you cant really call them detainees anymore. Perhaps you can gleen a clue from the fact it is called a ‘Detention’ Center? Or is FOX News suggesting that we let all the detainees go?”
Failure of imagination, if you ask me. They should send them to their homes and let them be detained over Zoom.
I have not actually seen Jen Psaki in action, but I can’t help silently reading any quotes of hers I see in Alison Janney/CJ Cregg’s voice. Complete with maybe a look over the glasses frame. It’s great.
