You’ve never been dive-bombed by crows, I take it. Or pigeon-splattered. They are NOT weaponless.
We don’t hand the leader of a another country a wad of bills and say “Buy yourself something nice”. Most of that money is spent in the US. If it’s military aid, we buy them guns, ammo and other things, MADE IN THE USA and ship them over there. Food assistance, is bought from US Farmers. So cutting aide to other countries is just another way of shooting ourselves in the foot. And we’re running out of feet!
“Be all that you can be” came first. I know, because I joined the Army during the changeover. “Army of One” was hated from the get go, and only lasted a few years before it was replaced with “Army Strong”. Not sure what came after that. I know “Be all that you can be” was around for 20+ years.
