I never made reference to any porn star. I simply can’t get past the promo ads. I’d be surfing right by if I ever came across the show in action.
I dunno, based on the pilot, the quality of the acting is probably about equal to porn.

I thought it was a sitcom about a slobbery Newfoundland Dog owned by a neatnik Hispanic family. (“Terranova” is the breed’s name in Spanish).

Spielberg once exec produced a TV series called Earth 2. Now he’s exec producing a TV series called Terra Nova. Both are about pioneering families in a new environment. He’s persistent, I give him that.
I look forward to his third attempt sometime in the future, New World.

And it was a great show. It’s biggest flaw was Ken Wahl. The story structure was really original.
It was, wasn’t it? Its structure, style and themes were very much ahead of their time. I wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out to have influenced a lot of the darker, grittier TV of the 90’s and 00’s, despite not making all that much of an impact at the time.
I liked Wahl, though, at least before he self-destructed. He may not have been that great an actor, but he was perfect for the part.
The Bring Down the Sky DLC in Mass Effect involves stopping an asteroid from crashing into a planet called Terra Nova. The show Terra Nova has dinosaurs which many people think were killed by an asteroid hitting the planet. Coincidence? Probably.
