Oh lordy, I read this story in the NY DAILY NEWS this morning. The picture of this little kid heating up canned soup for himself, terrified that he’d be put in a foster home, while his mother’s body lay in the next room, really did get me all misty.
Any update on this story? I assume that all of his worst fears will now come true, right?
So far it looks like he will be staying with his grandmother. Somebody was definitely looking out for him all this time.

Our prayers are certainly with him.
He’s gonna need some quality counseling.
That poor brave baby. I’m glad he has a loving grandmother to care for him, and hope her health isn’t as bad as they implied.

The worse part of that story is that someone can be dead for more than a month and no one notice.
