I know we don’t usually do this kind of stuff here, but someone posted this on another board, and given the reaction, many toddlers are playing with these toys.
My stepgrandson for one. The paint covering the surfaces contains lead.

Thanks for the heads-up. Dh sent me the wire story, but didn’t have that poster included. This was the year I finally caved and bought myself…ur…um… the kids a whole bunch of them.
I know what you mean… My stepgrandson is 3, and his name is Thomas. He’s very proud of having his “own” brand of toys. I left a message for his parents, I hope none of his toys are on the list of recalls.
It appears to be a small number of them, mostly red (think James, Skarloey, Old Slow Coach and the cabooses). I think there are also a few signs.
1.5 million recalled? Hell, I have that many under the damned couch…
