Maybe one or more model train enthusiasts would know. What is the actual size of the trains used to film the Thomas the Tank Engine show?

This site says that they are Gauge #1 engines with Marklin guts. Gauge 1 is a “Large Scale” garden sized trains. LGB or G Scale would come close in size. BTW my two year old learned all of his colors by watching Thomas.
My kid learned that Gordon is an insufferable pain in the ass by watching Thomas.
