Thoughts on the computer I might buy, Part Deux

Ok, thanks to the previous thread on this, i’ve been partially convinced to build my own computer. I’ve done a little research (thanks again to people’s suggestions on the board) and come up with a tentative list of components;

Antec TruePower 2.0 480W BLUE LED PSU TPII-480P BLUE ATX12V 2.01 compliant 24-pin +detachable 4-pin section 21.3 dBA
Intel Pentium® 4 D 930 Dual core 2x3.0GHz 800FSB LGA775 2x2MB cache Retail inc.Fan
MSI P4N SLI-FI, Nforce 4 SLI s775, 1066FSB, PCI-E, IDE RAID, SATA2 RAID, GB LAN, 8ch.Audio, USB2, F/Wire, ATX F/WIRE
Corsair® 2048MB TwinX XMS 3200 C2 Memory Kit (2 x 1GB)
Gigabyte GeForce 7900GT SLI 256MB DDR3, PCI-E, Dual DVI, HDTV
300 GB Seagate Barracuda® SATA2 7200rpm 8MB cache

So a couple of questions; Are all these things compatible? I think I have to get an ATX case for it. Have I missed anything out? Does it seem like a good setup?

Looks compatible, without looking up the individual parts. I’d suggest a sound card unless the board comes with the dedicated Creative chip. You’ll also need an optical drive. A good dual-layer DVD recorder will only set you back around an initial $80. Lastly, I’d do some research on stock Intel cooling. I always replace the stock fans with something quieter, but that’s me.

When looking for a chase, consider one that has at least two 120mm fans. It makes a huge difference in cooling and volume versus two (or more) 80mm fans.
