I subscribed to the thread Field of Daisies (a Harnic RPG) - The Game Room - Straight Dope Message Board, and just got an email saying the thread had been updated. The thing is, the “update” was already there when I subscribed.
(Note I subscribed for the Daily feed, as I figure there will be multiple posts made quite quickly)
