We both know this forum isn’t the right place for that. If you feel the need, the pit is down the hall and I will respond to you there. I personally don’t think you’re worth pitting, though I will admit to a bit of morbid curiosity over what you’re assuming that I don’t want to hear. You’ve already shown you’re not very good at assuming.
I know, learning from experiences and experiencing personal growth is hard. I’m not at all surprised, but I’m still a little disappointed.
Anyhow, I just popped in to dismiss the myth that non-sociopaths can kill people and sleep easy afterwards just because they killed a “bad guy.” That’s simply not how it works, no matter how many movies work like that.
What I had to say could have been said here. It was insensitive, cruel and probably boorish but still wouldn’t have necessitated the Pit. I decided not to post it when it occurred to me that in a sense you’re like a wounded animal snarling and snapping at the offer of a helping hand.
As for my alleged inadequacy for assuming, why then did you feel it necessary to include more information in order to set me straight? You admitted yourself that you had intentionally omitted key information so as to protect your anonymity. Given that, how is it a detriment to me that I arrived at the wrong conclusion to what you were talking about, given, once again, that this thread pertains to an entirely different subject than the one you chose to inform us on?
So nice of you to set us all straight on the matter. Before I alert the press, do you have even a smidgeon of probative data with which to substantiate your claim?
If you would like even more cites, the wiki page for Killology (the study of the psychological and physiological effects of killing and combat on the human psyche) has more on the bottom of the page.
