Three things that have pissed me off in two days

It’s been $6+ to Pittsburgh from Harrisburg/Carlisle for the last 20 years on the PA Turnpike.

That show pisses me off because she doesn’t tip for shit.

Heh. So in response to whether or not there is a cooking show where someone tastes the food they just made and their reaction when it tastes like shit?

The other day I was at my Dad’s house, and the TV was on just for background noise and they were running a “Welcome Home Martha” Martha Stewart marathon in honor of her release from prison. The only thing that got my attention was an episode wherein Bill Cosby was the guest chef and they were making something that looked like some kind of cold stuffing or salad. I don’t know what it was because I wasn’t paying attention until she made him take a bite and he said NOTHING at first. She says, “You don’t care for it?” and he says something close to, “If Camille made this, I’d throw it.” But he saw that he hurt her feelings, so he kept taking big mouthfulls of the stuff and trying not to grimace, and making a big deal about it, but the apparent torture was kind of obvious. She kept telling him that he didn’t have to eat it. Cracked me right up.

Quite true.

I’m actually right off Hunter Mill, in Vienna.

I realize it sucks if you only use it every once in awhile, but we neeeed people to start using the I-PASS. All of the trafic could drive along at 70mph under overhead sensors if everybody just had an iPass - the technology supports that. Of course, you can also pay the increase rate since it’s so rare. And to back up other people, I used to shell out close to $20 I think, going from DC to Long Island (frickin’ bridges).

The I-PASS is $60, $20 of which is deposit for the box, $40 of which is toll money.
