Three things the Piper Techno-peasant has recently learnt

I’ve been discovering that the “control” key has magic powers!

Control Z undoes the last action, while Control Y repeats the last action!

Control + makes the font display bigger, and Control - shrinks it!

This Control + option is particularly important for tired Piper eyes.

I suppose this is old news to everyone else, but has been a revelation!

And I also have learnt to count on my fingers and apparently that’s four things, not three, as set out in the title.

Close one tab, then press CTRL SHIFT T.

That’s my favorite one because, inevitably, I end up closing a tab and then needing it open again, but don’t remember how I got to that tab in the first place.

Do a quick web search for keyboard shortcuts and you’ll find plenty of great ones to make your life easier.

Indeed there are so many useful pairs of do this/undo this that you might well need a shortcut to the shortcuts.

In real life? Damn, that is handy.

Well ! I did not know that !

Told you it was magic!

When I learnt on a Mac the squiggly Mac key and y repeated. Only recently discovered that same function on windows.

It’s the command key for me (on a Mac); though does not work with the “y” key.
