At any given time I use maybe 20% of my Internet bandwidth. So I know it’s not a me problem.
But the sound keeps cutting off intermittently for a couple of seconds at a time. It’s extremely annoying.
Anybody found a solution to this? I see on the Amazon forums other people have had the same question. But all they ever get is a broiler plate answer telling them to reset their modem. That doesn’t fix the problem I’ve tried.
Anybody else have this issue? Have you found a solution?
I have not experienced that problem except on my crappy TV (but it usually only happens in the first few minutes of a show as the lousy TV seems to be catching up). It certainly is not a bandwidth issue as I am using around 3% of available bandwidth. My very good TV never has any problem (you get what you pay for to some extent).
My guess is this may be a WiFi issue. The signal strength is bad or something else tosses enough interference into the ether to cause it to drop.
Try a wired connection as a test (just run it across the house for the test). See if that helps.
I haven’t had it happen.
Likewise, as above poster says, everything that can be on ethernet in my home is on ethernet-- appletv, two laptops, desktop, another TV. The only things that use wifi are phones. I do not have a tablet.
