Oh my fucking God, I forgot how good this was!!!
I first heard it about eight years ago, on about a third-generation copy from the original LP, and wore the tape out within weeks. Somehow, I lost touch with it somehow, but now I’m listening to a new copy…WOW…

Yup, love their early stuff, (though I usually can’t stand Nick Drake inspired indie-wimp stuff) not so keen on their recent directions (or maybe I’ve not given it a chance) - they’re still fun live (got stupidly wet watching them at Glasto this year)
I lost interest after ‘sisister’. I like them being happy, but I felt they just got too happy
