Anyone hear this song he sang at some music awards? I’m not a country guy but this was a really touching song. It’s all over You Tube if you haven’t heard it yet. Just search for the song name I think. Make sure you get the 5 minute version for the full song.
Country folk are claiming that this could be the song of his career and it’s not even a released track.

I didn’t watch the CMT awards, but our local country station (WQYK - Tampa/St. Petersburg) had the audio the next morning. I was driving, and about had to pull over because I was crying so hard. I’ve heard it maybe half-a-dozen times since, and it still makes me tear up. 
It’s just an amazing song - no background vocals, no heavy orchestration, just Tim and a guitar and a single fiddle - very bittersweet lyrics “quoting” a letter written by a soldier to be read by his family if he died overseas.
Just listen. Trust me.
I, too, found it deeply moving.
