Its not going to be that awful. I hope. He’s doing most of the work and he’s used to running large crews, so he is probably better at planning large parties than me. If he gets really out of control, I think I can rein him in.
We have agreed on the important parts. Everyone needs enough to eat and drink, and all of our attendents must wear comfortable shoes.
I saw the Cirque du Soliel show Amaluna last night and the final scene made me think of this thread. It was the every performer makes an appearance before the bows scene and there was a wedding in the middle of it. I was imagining every drama queen bridezilla now adding 12 acrobats doing flips over their heads while peacocks bowed to them and jugglers and magicians directed attention back to the bride with magic scarves and flaming knives.
On the other hand the failures would make good stories.
