Tin House … not to be confused with David Bowie’s Tin Machine, I’m happy to report … was a 3-man hard rock band from FLA that put out a white hot self-titled album on Epic in the early '70s. With a sort of early Grand Funk-ish type vibe about 'em (to an extent), guitarist Floyd Radford’s work on their lone album should have placed him in the upper echelon of all hard rock guitarists from that day forward. Some of his runs and rhythm work on the album are just beyond description! His work with subsequent Edgar & Johnny Winter bands doesn’t even hint at the firepower unleashed with Tin House. But, alas, the album headed straight for the proverbial vinyl oblivion as a lot of now-classic albums often do. Any other '70s hard rock nuts out there hip to Tin House?
