Tinnitus stories: tell me about the ringing in your ears

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 1987. Back then, the only thing that brought me temporary pain relief was large quantities of aspirin. Since then, my ears have rung non-stop and it will probably never go away.

Wow. Carotid artery dissections are apparently the leading cause of strokes in young adults - and many of the symptoms aren’t necessarily things you’d worry about too much (headaches, neck pain, etc). Scary stuff.
