For a mere $1000 a month, you could live in 62 square feet in London.
Makes downtown San Francisco seem affordable or at least spacious.

So, a party is out of the question?
It’s got a bed.
I first read that as 62 square meters and thought, ya know, that’s actually not a bad price for London. Then I clicked on your link. What the hell does a normal flat go for in London?
Yike. Where’d they squeeze the shower? I’d like to see a few more pictures of it…
And here I thought that was just a Geico commercial…
Where do you sleep? A hammock, perhaps?
From that picture, I’d say they wasted way more of the 62 square feet on the kitchen than I would’ve. Here are two articles about the apartment (the second one has a photo showing the bed):
Is there anything comparable in a large US city?
That’s completely insane.
This thread was posted twice and replied to separately. So, I moiged the suckers. (Just in case you were wondering why the OP just doubled itself.)
I saw a news report the other night about skyrocketing real estate costs in some areas of the US. At one point a realtor was showing the reporter a 822 square foot (iirc) apartment in Manhattan that was selling for $1,000,000!
That gives me claustrophobia just looking at the pictures. I have a (modest) camping trailer that’s almost three times the size!
um…where is the whizzateria? or are you supposed to hold it in until you get to work or a restaraunt?
But will it save you money on car insurance?
