My husband is a white American straight male. He’s also a gifted musician, who can always find the beat…as long as he’s actually in the band that is creating said beat. He can’t dance. It’s not just him, either. The overwhelming majority of musicians I’ve met (white and non-white) either can’t, don’t, or won’t dance. Most of them can’t. The rest of them just hate it. Why is this?
