To Do List before you die

Oh, one more. I want to juggle lit torches.

Hmmmm,

  1. travel all the world
  2. win the lottery/retire/something so that I could do what I wanted every day all day.
  3. eliminate animal cruelty
  4. never to have smoked
  5. swim with a beluga whale in the open ocean
  6. wear a full, hooped dress with cape and all

TAFN,

  1. Not die.

I figure everything else will sort itself out if I can accomplish that one.

I’d like to love and be loved. Marriage would be nice.

Wife, a job I love, a nice house, dog, cat, white picket fence, maybe a kid or two if I’m crazy enough and all that.

Boring stuff.

Yo, Kythereia!

You’re still young, so I can cut you some slack, but you gotta get to work on these:

  1. Have a PhD
  2. Teach at university
  3. Write a book or two
  4. Get over your bloody fear of flying already and go on a backpacking trip to Europe
  5. Have a car
  6. Have a nice apartment or house
  7. Have a cottage up north
  8. Have, at least, a steady boyfriend
  9. Start and maintain a charity

Hurry it up, woman!

Kilimanjaro
Get laid

Needless to say, Japanese twins are on my list.

Uhhh… yeah… thats about it.

Remembered to add

  • Learn a hakka
  • Enter in the World Series of Poker, doesn’t matter if I get spanked in the first ten hands

I wanna save somebody’s life.

I don’t have a specific plan in mind, but I know CPR and have an extra kidney floating around. I could maybe talk someone out of suicide, or push them out of the way of an oncoming train. Or stop a bank robbery, but I never go to the bank anymore.

Does it count if I technically do it after I die, like my heart or lungs get transplanted?

in no particular order:
-Travel Europe
-Visit Tahiti
-Spend a night in the Ice Hotel
-Own (drive) a exotic sports car
-Ride a full century
-Do an unsupported bike tour
-Learn to fly
-Have enough money when I retire, I can travel
-Own a classic car

I’ve done a few things that are on other people’s lists. Definite ego boost there.
Own my own home. Somewhere civilized, not in the middle of nowhere.

Be flexible enough to do the splits.

Visit every continent. (3 down, 5 to go counting India)

Have enough money to not have to work.

Threesome.

Be a published illustrator. Or author. I’m not picky.

Achieve widespread recognition for something. Preferrably something good.
Hmm, if these are my goals, why am I not working towards them? How depressing.

Hmm, well here’s a short list in no particular order:

  1. Fall in love, get married, that whole bit
  2. Write a novel
  3. Travel through Europe, Aisa and Africa
  4. Pet a Bengal Tiger
  5. Lose weight and keep it off for at least a little while! hehe
  6. Get a PhD
  7. Visit all 50 states
  8. Travel the route of the Eastern theater of the US Civil War
  9. Go to a Civil War re-enactment
  10. Buy a house that is on the historical registry
  11. Get my palm read
I could go on and on. And on and on and on.

Too true. And judging by how many people have literary goals on their list, we all should be writing right now!

Hell, i’m only 25 so its hard to know what I will consider important enough to put it on a list before I die since I wont die until 2065 or so. Its only 2005 right now.
