Mmmm, think you’ve just solved my dinner conundrum for the evening
What a great follow-up to International Women’s Day! (not)
I wish I had known this earlier. I’ve got two bags of meatballs in my freezer, a jar of grape jelly and a bottle of chili sauce in my pantry along with egg noodles.
Man, I haven’t made those in forever. I make a pretty mean Italian meatball, too.
Me either. And the only reason I happen to have the fixings now is that last year I got a “care package” while I was in the hospital which included the jar of grape jelly, along with a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter. Since I don’t particularly care for grape jelly, it’s been sitting on the shelf. A few weeks ago when I was grocery shopping I saw that there was a sale on frozen meatballs, and the light clicked so I bought two bags, along with some chili sauce.
People would always ask for the recipe, then glare at me when I told them, thinking I was lying.
With so many foods having their own day, is there a list one could consult to find out if a food you like has it’s day? Kind of like the Catholics have lists of saints for almost any given day.
