And no, I’m not being sarcastic. I’m supposed to be trying to get used to contact lenses, but have only worn them a couple of times because, well, I guess because I’m not used to them yet. I’ll try them the next time I have to go to the store. Thanks!
See, this thread did turn out to be useful. 
You’ll get used to them eventually. I’ve been wearing them for about 35 years now, and the first few years were hard contacts - those were no fun.
Yeah - I’m getting my new contacts in this week. It’s been about fifteen years since I last wore them (and those were ill fitting) This time the optometrist will be giving me lessons on taking them out and putting them in.
