Today I helped vaccinate 900 people

Update. So last week when I wrote this it was the elderly or really ill here in Minnesota - and we’d just opened it to the really ill. Midweek the clinic opened up to the next tier - and the crowd has gotten younger. I’m three weeks in and we’ve gone from “everyone is elderly” to “everyone is either elderly or ill” to “you are just over 55 and have a +30 BMI (my husband got in being old and cuddly) or type II diabetes or are an essential worker.” Its going fast…perhaps not fast enough for people who haven’t seen their parents in a year, but its going fast. 25% of Minnesotans have had at least one shot.

Congrats on your contribution. I think we’re at about 3 million vaccinations a day. I don’t know if the numbers are going to keep going up, but at that rate thats 50 million Americans fully vaccinated each month with either of the mRNA vaccines, or up to 100 million if they use the single shot vaccines.
