I just now came back from the post office–which was closed.
I suppose no one else here is as forgetful as I am–but it’s possible someone else here forgot.

To be honest, I’m kind of surprised that this administration hasn’t moved to end this holiday (along with, perhaps, MLK Day). That would be consistent with their philosophy.
Curious if my neighbor down the street is continuing his annual tradition of flying the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of Juneteenth.
But ATMs will be functional, I’m sure? They always are. Because Mr. brown just left to get some cash for a vacation we’re about to go on.
Depends, some ATMs have very small federal employees inside doing all the work, those will not be functional.
Mechanic ATMs will work fine.
Privately manned ATMs may or may not work, depending on the employer…

I did check to see whether the mail had come yet.
Then I did a headslap and said to myself, Duh, it’s Juneteenth!
(I work through other holidays too; it’s not just this one.)
I discovered it was Juneteenth when a US colleague told us he’d accidentally scheduled the meeting we were in on his day off.
I do that on most holidays and some Sundays.
Oh, I’m always trying to go to the Post Office on a Federal holiday. It comes from an unstable schedule working in retail combined with having to work a lot of holidays myself, making me a bit oblivious to the schedule the rest of the world is running on.
Same.
Taking away federal holidays isn’t popular, no matter what the holiday is about. They’ll only do it when they have a suitable replacement, like Jefferson Davis’s birthday.
Displaying a trophy taken from a defeated foe - power move!
Chicago has a large Polish population, and celebrates Casimir Pulaski Day in early March. All county offices are closed on that day. One year I went to the county treasurer’s office to pay my property taxes, and had to go back the next day.
On the other hand, Trump did post on Juneteenth, not to commemorate the holiday but to complain, “Too many non-working holidays in America. It is costing our Country $BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to keep all of these businesses closed. The workers don’t want it either! Soon we’ll end up having a holiday for every once working day of the year. It must change if we are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

In all seriousness, they’ll probably replace it with Columbus Day.
