Two guys burglarize a parking garage.
Among the items stolen are two video surveillance cameras.
But not the separate recording units.
Which means they taped themselves in the act of removing the cameras.
Police response, in a nutshell: “Here’s the tape. Anybody out there recognize these jamokes?”
You know, the expression on the thief’s face in the security image included pretty much says it all: “Ungh!”
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of this, either; a couple or three years ago there were some enterprising thieves who decided to steal the surveillance cameras from the outside of a building. Like these idiots, they took only the cameras. Also like these idiots, their ugly mugs were smiling pretty for the camera good 'n close. And, undoubtedly like these morons will be, they were hoisted by their own petard.
I’ve always said: Those who turn to crime are the ones too stupid to do any other kind of work.
