[Viennese Accent]So tell me, what do these make you think of your mother?[/Viennese Accent]
I like the Gnomes with Flags and the T. Rexes balancing on Balls
As far as I can see, the “real” Rorschach images don’t come up, and some of the blots are just boring space-filling blocks.
Kitty and Butterfly is cute, too.
The Canonical Rorschach tests are on the internet, and you can most easily find them in the Wikipedia article:
I didn’t have any idea what they looked like until I read about them in William Poundstone’s Big Secrets, which gave outlines of the blots. I first learned there that some of the blots are multicolored, but I never saw them until I looked the blots up online. You also can’t really appreciate the gradations and gradual tailing off of the blots from Poundstone’s tracings – the blots aren’t of uniform density, and some lack hard edges.
Gnomes!
The dinosaurs walking on beach balls is cute.
Hrmm.
I could see the gnomes turn into a creepy doll head, like that face/vase kind of thing, but the dinosaurs were just dinosaurs.
Ya, but what’s all this got to do with that guy with the funny laugh in “Welcome Back Kotter?”
FWIW, I do not get the Rorschach test with this URL. Nor with google.co.th (I live in Thailand).
I do get it with google.co.uk and with google.fr .
ETA: I do click to Google a dozen times a day. I guess I’ve been missing a lot of fun.
You can click here to see what you’ve been missing (notice that many doodles indicate a specific country or region where they appear).
Tom Servo!
Anyone else see Groucho’s hair and eyebrows?
