My sister and her husband and daughter have been visiting, and left this morning, so I get my bed back tonight! Before they’d even finished loading the car I had the sheets in the washer. Since my brother-in-law put up new pulleys and a new clothesline yesterday, I dried the sheets on the line, and they smell wonderful. I just made the bed, and can’t wait to get home tonight and crawl in between all that sunshiney goodness.

I agree with you about the sun dried sheets. They do feel good. Our alleged HOA (which everyone has collectively thumbed their noses at) covenants state that noone can have clotheslines. However, all the nose thumbers who wanted em put em up anyways.

Shave your legs tonight before crawling in the bed. Freshly shaved legs and clean sheets are just a heavenly combination.
Almost as good as a warm, freshly ironed shirt on a cold winter morning. 
My cats. One is so pretty and fluffy, and such a poof. The other is chunky and silky, and came and sat next to me and purred while I watched the ball game. Unfortunately, the Tigers are stomping all over the Yankees (8 - 0 in the bottom of the 8th), so I came back here.
I went a jag this evening and washed all the curtains in the upstairs rooms. Now they look great and smell great. (It’s amazing how much fustiness curttains hold.) I have all the windows open and it’s raining, just a soft, steady rain. Everything smells fresh and wonderful.

Hey I am an environmental terorist too! I use a solar dryer! Though 3 loads of dark clothers are dripping wet on the line right now. Jeez it was 87 deg and sunny while shopping in town , 25 miles east at home it is 62 deg and hailing!
I had a so-so afternoon and to cheer me up Mr. Adoptamom baked potatoes and grilled a steak for me, serving it on a tray so I could finish watching a television show. What made this even more special is that he pre fixed my baked potato with all of my favorite trimmings, smushing them all up in the buttery goodness of a piping hot baked potato … heavenly! I’m so lucky to have such a wonderful husband
