Anyone up for a mini-dopefest in Tokyo just after Christmas? I’ll be in Yokohama and have lotsa free time December 30 and 31. January 1 and 2 I’ll be in Narita City. Any takers? I’m sorry for such short notice. It’s taken longer to make some of the arrangements than I expected. A pox on Citibank and all its computers!

I’ll be in Korea! Y’know, for such a small country, it takes a long damn time to get from one end of it to the other. Makes me appreciate just how far SF is from LA.
Let me see if I can make it. We’re heading down to Taipei, but I’ll be back on the 31st. I think the 2nd would work out better.

Oh my, I most likely will be going to Kawagoe and/or Saitama City once the year-end break starts. If I do, I’ll definitely be going to Tokyo more than once.
This all depends, however, on whether or not I decide I can handle staying with my ex for any considerable amount of time. If I end up Kanto-way, then I would certainly be up for debauchery with strangers.

hmm, just shored up some plans to be in Kyoto from the 24th to the 28th, might be able to make it out to Tokyo but it really depends on my cash flow. I got a buddy coming to visit from San Francisco in early January and I want to have some cash to show him nice restaurants and such. It’d be great to meet some of you fellow nihon sunde imasu-ers…

Sounds like fun. My wife and MIL are planning some family stuff around the 1st, but I’ll be in Tokyo the whole time.
I don’t live in Japan, I just visit a lot. And I won’t be visiting at that time. 
Awww, I wish I was in Japan ne! I won’t probably make my move there until August gurai. My kokoro is full of zannen.
