I don’t know how much (if any) of that gossip story is true, but I would pay money to watch Spielberg verbally eviscerate Crazy Tom.
And Jerry O’Connell is hilarious.

Is there a Jewish mafia? (I don’t think Mossad counts. ;))
The satanism-Scientology connection is pretty well documented, honestly. Even if you exclude L. Ron Hubbard Jr’s interview.
Jewish-American organized crime. Incidentally, in the CBS series Cane, There are a bunch of Israeli organized crime guys running around.
Seriously, Tucker, you never heard of Bugsy Siegel? Meyer Lansky? The whole rhythm section of Jailhouse Rock was jewish.
In the 1920s-30s, Jews were living in the ghettos, playing basketball, and running in gangs.
And if Vegas is any indication, bling ain’t nothing new, either.
Jerry Maguire: “Have you ever gotten the feeling that you aren’t completely embarassed yet, but you glimpse tomorrow’s embarrassment?”
75 million years ago, Xenu came to TEEGEEACK (the earth) in his fleet of wingless DC-8s. How come our radio astronomers have not picked up the radio chatter? Something like" Attention teegeeack ground control, flight XENU 22403, landing with a cargo of 5 million thetans-over!"
Why don’t we pick this up?
“XENU 22403, you are number two behind a pteradactyl on short final. Descend and maintain five-zero-million feet, report the continents in sight.”
Because everything else just makes perfect sense right?
Well, I’m no expert but here’s something for more enlightened minds to reflect on: maybe the radio was turned off…
Can I be nitpicky and make the point that the connection being made here is between satanism and Scientology, not Satanism and Scientology (note the case of the S). The satanism being discussed here is devil worshipping/embracing, not Satanism the religion (which didn’t exist until 1966).
To me this is even more proof of mental disturbance on the part of Scientology’s founder.
They landed at night.
Heh. Heh heh heh. Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh. Heh.
snerk Smilentology!
Did ya notice Tom’s respectful salute, to the giant portrait of LRH? Saluting that creep?
Read the history of this cult, and find out how quickly they got rid of LRH (the body was cremated without any autopsy-rumor is that LRH was a heavy drug user at the time of his death)!
Oh, in that case we should get NASA involved to solve the mystery.
Maybe Lord Xenu left the OT level that covers wingless radio silent night flying in his other set of pants.
I’ll have to admit that on this crappy day on Wall Street, Jerry O’Connell’s stock has risen quite a bit.
The Satanism of LaVey and the satanism of Crowley are essentially indistinguishable. Both exalt personal will.
ComeToTheDarkSideWeHaveCookies Start with E-Sabbath’s article about John Whiteside Parsons the self-proclaimed anti-christ and rocket scientist. He’s a character and was the leader of the Agape OTO lodge of which Hubbard was a member. They shared a home and a lover. The first Scientologist ship in fact was bought with money stolen from Parsons. Both men knew Aleister Crowley personally. No examination of Scientology is complete without a review of the Great Beast himself. There’s a good bit of reading and it can be fascinating. Aleister Crowley supposedly caused a destructive schism in a White Magic order called ‘The Golden Dawn’, which schismed to form the Ordo Templi Orientis more commonly known as the OTO. He is often pitted against the heroic William Butler Yeats in the romanticization of the tale.
A great book on the subject is ‘Sinister Forces: A Grimoire of American Political Witchcraft’, it’s an easy read and is one of the greatest primers on occult conspiracy theory out there, it delves into CIA mind control, Satanism, Hubbard, Crowley, Parsons. It’s a fun read. www.sinisterforces.com
Err, no they’re not. There are major differences, namely that Crowley believed in spirits and supernatural entities (such as Satan and Set) and an esoteric tradition of magic and mumbo jumbo, and Lavey emphatically didn’t. No Satanist would say they were in touch with the devil as the devil doesn’t exist.
Saying they’re the same because they both exalt personal will is like saying Islam and Christianity are the same as they both believe in God.
Let’s just say they’re similar, one descends from the other, and the Crowley form is considerably more evil, which is the form Hubbard practiced?
Wouldn’t most Scientologists have no clue about any mention of Xenu in church documents until they rise the ranks? Sure you could listen to a bunch of jerkoffs on the internet make fun of your religion, but until they hear about it being the official story, they might think it’s all bull, designed by journalists and ex-members to cast a bad light on Scientology. Maybe we can forgive most of the Scientologists out there, since there aren’t very many in the position to have that stuff revealed to them(OT Whatever), and most of the other things in Scientology are just your run-of-the-mill “woah, like, your soul must reach a higher level, man” hippy nonsense. I don’t know, maybe I just hate to see you people slinging shit about something you really have little knowledge of.
