So Sapito’s birthday came. I managed to talk all the relatives into buying him pieces for his TOMY set (one of several Thomas the Tank Engine train sets, the one with the plastic blue rails and the motorized trains). All in all, he got a ton of tracks and trains.
I have a new toy!
I can fill an empty 10x10 room (they have a rubber floored empty playroom) with very complex sets that include bridges, overpasses, tunnels, road crossings (with Bertie’s road system).
Having a kid is finally paying off.
He loves it when he comes home and finds a new setup, so it is not all a selfish ploy of mine. He gets tired of them in about half an hour, but that is ok. I don’t care much about playing with it either, it is all about building it.
So, simple lives, simple pleasures.
