The “end” of Star Trek was more like “the ASS of Star Trek.”
Unfortunate, but not unexpected.
I liked *Enterprise *well enough for its past two years but I can’t be bothered to mourn its passing.
The only thing I will truly miss from its cancellation are NoClueBoy, vivalostwages, carnivorousplant, Wearia, tracer, Cervaise, Kn*ckers, Tars Tarkas, and everyone else that made the discussions here so much more fun than the episodes themselves. If it weren’t for them, I’d have never cared in the first place.
Trek, to me, died on June 2nd, 1999. The past six years has just been an extended wake.
Star Trek will be back. In pog form.
I don’t have cable, so no Battlestar Galactica. And Andromeda is ending also. So that leaves Stargate SG-1 (sydicated) as one of my few SF options. (I don’t count Lost - tho it does have SF aspects)
