Tonka and the harmonica

I just stuck some toy harmonicas out for the taking. I figured I’d pull out the ol’ Special 20 and play with it. (I can’t actually ‘play’ a harmonica – just simple tunes – so I ‘play with’ them.) Tonka was sleeping in a chair on the deck. When I started playing, he came in and jumped up on the couch next to me. He let out a soft meow, and gingerly climbed up to sniff the harp to see where the noise was coming from. He seems to like it. He’s lying next to me now, apparently waiting for me to finish typing, and make some more noise.

I wonder if this may be a new strategy to call him home when he wanders off at dusk. Just pull out the harmonica and start playing Mannish Boy. :stuck_out_tongue:

Pictures, please! Can you get him to harmonize his meows with the harmonica?

Can’t ‘play’ and shoot video at the same time. Anyway, when I tried to show The Missus Tonka’s reaction, he didn’t cooperate. He hopped off of the ottoman and went to the kitchen. Weirdo.

Maybe he’s trying to spur a revival of the Harmonicats?
