I’ve been tested 3 times since March. I’ll do it again a few days from now, prepping for a small family gathering at my nephew’s office at the local Purdue campus when the place is deserted for Christmas break.
I had one a couple of months ago. It was a temporary drive-up testing facility with testing done with you still in the car. I think it was the mid-turbinate swab described above. The nurse advised humming while she was swabbing, which seemed to minimize the discomfort. I got the result (negative) online in a little over 24 hours.
Was the humming to keep you from screaming!
