I have a cracked tooth. I went in for a root canal, but the dentist said the crack was too deep to ensure total success. I’d be better off having the tooth pulled and replacing it with an implant. I had a choice: I could go to one doctor who would pull the tooth, but he would wait for weeks before putting in the implant stud. Or I could go to another one who would pull the tooth and put the stud in that day – but I had to wait a week. I chose the latter.
So I get up at 5 in the ayem, have only one cuppa joe (compared to my usual pot of coffee in the morning), shave, shower, dress, and drive into town with time to spare before my appointment.
Only the dentist thought I was there for a consultation. Now it’s going to be October 5th before I get rid of that cracked tooth. Why didn’t anyone tell me I grind my teeth?
