I searched the archive and couldn’t find anything, so I am going to submit a new thread - although if I blew the search and the answer is there, would appreciate a point in the right direction…
When I was a kid in California, I remember that if I got a Tootsie Pop, I was supposed to take off the wrapper and look to see if one of the kids printed on it was dressed up as an Indian - if so, that meant (I think) good luck. Was this something local to my neighborhood or is this a more widely-known thing? I just got a Tootsie Pop from the candy bowl at work, and, sure enough, there’s the kid dressed up like an Indian, pointing his arrow at a star just to his left.
Does anyone out their remember if they had a similar luck thing with Tootsie Pops or other candy?
Thanks!
