The extent to which Morgan’s celebrity chef partner disliked him is quite telling. I do have to say though that Zac completely lost my support with the whole bitch-fest. Did he think the judges would keep him because he’s more enthusiastic?!? Your cake sucked, any fool could see that. It’s one thing to complain about personalities to the interview camera, but at judges table? No.
Yigit is clearly accustomed to having the world revolve around him, and that was hard for me to watch. But his cooking partners all loved him; which, again, says a lot.
I agree that it’s best when all the finalist do well. I wouldn’t have minded any of three winning, though I expected it to come down to Yigit or Morgan. For most of the season, I didn’t think Danielle had the ability to win, but she really stepped it up the last couple of episodes. (She does have an odd face, and that picture of her they showed a couple of time was scary. Apparently, it’s the main photo on her website http://www.bittersweettreats.com/).
I thought the same thing right up until he called Zach a “fairy”. That crossed the line.
I gasped out loud when he called him a fairy- that’s not okay. The showtunes comments and calling him a little girl seemed like a person under a lot of pressure trying to insult someone, but fairy is really loaded. I was disappointed and no longer rooting for him at all after that point.
