Top Gear Episode inspires nifty quip - or - my son just called and . . .

My son just called to tell me he’d been watching Top Gear. The crew was checking out the new Ferrari. The designers wanted to cluster all of the nifty dashboard readouts as close to the steering wheel as possible, and so they’d designed a central display that switches back and forth between showing the spedometer and showing the GPS readout.

Says my son, “You know what they’ve made, don’t you? It’s a Heisenberg readout!”

:smack:

For fans wanting to see the show, it’s episode 115, in season 5. Feel free to post comments on Top Gear, Ferraris, physics quips (puns included), unexpected wordplay, or something that someone called and told you. I’m just glad he called to share that and now that I’ve passed it on, my work here is done.

Top Gear (British version) is such a fantastic show.

It’s a car show for people who don’t even like cars shows…and for those who do.

Heh! Took me a few moments, but that’s funny.

I thought it was cool that he didn’t feel the need to explain it to me.

And, yeah, it’s a cool show. I’ve only seen a few episodes, but one of them had a contest for converting a car into a boat. I think they all sank, but one completed the course before sinking.

If you liked that one you should see the follow up to that show. They attempt to cross a much larger body of water.

It’s not a good Episode unless they’ve offended someone. Luckily, there’s never a bad show. Clarkson is a force of nature…not sure if it’s a benevolent force or not.

He had a few episodes playing tonight. I believe that totally. He was playing them from Netflix, if anyone wants to check them out.

Despite what James May said towards the end of the series, I still LMAO every time Hammond ran into him.
