Top ten films that probably don’t make anyone else’s list

The List of Adrian Messinger
The Seven Faces of Dr Lao
Household Saints
Flatliners
Green for Danger (although I’ve only seen it once, wish I had a copy)
The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby (8 hour RSC version, not sure if it qualifies)
The Stunt Man
The Name of the Rose
Odd Man Out
Altered States

I love Hopscotch, too.

True Lies

I thought of a few … dunno if there are duplicates here, but what the heck, these are ten films I like:

Hell Drivers
Seven Days to Noon
The Ladykillers
Rouge
Ladyhawke
Twelve Angry Men
A Matter of Life and Death
Sleuth
Henry V
Chariots of Fire

I glanced at some of the choices and was thinking that I’ve been about to write an OP about movies you know arecrap, but still like, enjoy and are proud to tell the world about (as opposed to so called guilty pleasures*).
Somehow, this thread kinda merges with that idea. I’ll list some crappy movies I enjoy, and others that I think have been unjustly forgotten:

Wild Things (crappy)
My favorite year (forgotten)
Notting Hill (crappy)
The year of living dangerously (forgotten)
Body Double (crappy)
Body Heat (forgotten)
Doc Hollywood (crappy)
Cube (forgotten)
Road House** (crappy)
Animal House (forgotten)

*It’s one thing to admit a guilty pleasure on a MB, another to stand in a room full of HS students in 2008 and explain why BtVS was one of the best things that ever happened to TV.

**Road House is just awful. It’s the awfulness that makes it so great. It’s the anitmatter of normal crappy cinema. It’s so bad, it hits you coming from the other side and makes you want more of the same crappiness. I wouldn’t’ve been surprised to see a producer cred going to someone from the Dibbler family

American Dreamer

Educating Rita

Hawks (with Timothy Dalton—I taped it off tv years ago and loved it and haven’t been able to find a copy to buy)

Pulp Fiction

The Lion in Winter (I used to have it memorized from start to finish)

Big Fish

Raising Arizona

Miller’s Crossing

The Princess Bride

Shrek

I didn’t look at other people’s list, b/c then I think of ten thousand ones I like–
These were ones that I sat and thought about.

Next time you’re in Charlotte, there’s a beer comin’ your way.

Some of these are on the lists already but here goes,
The Adventures of Robin Hood
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Last Man Standing-w/ bruce willis
They Call Me Trinity-or the sequel-both with Terrance Hill
My Name is Nobody-with Terrance Hill and Henry Fonda

Once Upon a time in The West
and my wife’s fav-Doc Hollywood

Yankee Doodle Dandy
Election
The Fog of War: 11 Lessons Learned from the Life of Robert S. McNamara
Shadow of the Vampire
Kill Bill vol. 1+2

You’ll see each of the above in some lists, but not very many

In no particular order:

1776
A Midwinter’s Tale
Der Untergang
Das Boot
Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead
The Quiet Man
Flushed Away
Topsy Turvy
The Madness of King George
The Muppet Movie
