The Toyota Hilux isn’t an American car.
Duh. I admit I have gotten comfortably into the habit of thinking of the Toyotas as American; they are so freakin ubiquitous. My face is red. Hide me from my shame!
There are actually American Toyotas; they sell a US/Canada only model called the Tacoma which is about the same size as the Hilux. The Hilux just isn’t one of them.
A good point ![]()
Yeah, screw those Toyotas - I’m sticking with my good ol’ homegrown American Honda!
Thanks for giving me an out. That’s TOTES what I meant! The Tacoma!
No, really, what I was trying to say is, when they DO review American cars, as I said, they are honest, which you don’t always get, and I am pretty sure there’s been an American car or three which they liked.
smegheadI too have an “American homegrown Honda.” Amusingly, it actually came straight from the dealer, on a BARGE. It had three miles on it when I picked it up.
Deep breath… now, let it go.
