My dad loved showing off his stereo. I knew this album by heart.
I worked in car audio with Bose, Nissan, GM and Ford audio systems for 25 years until I retired this year. The Dave Clark listening evaluation was one of the standards by which we graded our audio systems against the competition. There were like 20 different subjective and measurable parameters used to compare. Started out with basic stereo system reviews and in more recent times has advanced to surround sound Dolby Atmos systems.
I have friends at Dolby, Bose, Harmon, Panasonic and Sony who all use similar systems that are based off Dave Clarks original building blocks.
