(OUT OF PLAY)

WAY way way back in the day, I woud see content on WGN (Chicago) from time to time - it was included in our family’s cable package back in 1970-something. I remember a local commercial. It was at the tail end of the trend where phone numbers were expressed in Letter-Letter-Number-Number-Number-Number-Number (as in “JK5-2277” or whatever) The commerical was for some business or another; that jingle was “National-2 Nine, thousand!” Or, 62 (NA) 2-9000. The number 312-622=9000, 312 being the only Chicago area code in use at the time, does not appear to belong to a business at this time. As far as I’m able to discern from looking it up on Google.
