Reminds me of the skydiver falling thru the sun that Andrew took
We got *totally* skunked two years ago for the one thru N. America, as in even on a cloudy day you can usually tell where the sun is because some area of the sky is brighter. Nope, that April day, if I didn't already know where the sun was in the sky I wouldn't have had a clue think. Found a location that would work for an *amazing* shot, was watching weather, even thought about getting up early & joining friends in VT, 5 hrs away from us but it didn't look that much better there...except the clouds parted at exactly the right time & they saw it.
It was then I decided I want to go to Egypt next Aug; they hardly get any clouds in Aug so it should be a good opportunity. Anyone else want to join?
