Did anyone see on VH1 this weekend - they had a celebrity karaoke version of RHPS? Different celebrities dressed up as a character, and sang the song in front of a movie screen. Eric McCormack (Will, from Will & Grace) was GREAT in the Tim Curry role. I didn’t even recognize him.
What kind of pathetic loser would spend their weekends watching that piece of crap over and over again…don’t these people have lives?..Actually, I lost track some where in the hundreds too…every weekend for what seemed like decades. You know you have truely been there to many times when they don’t charge you anymore. My personal favorite bit was during the “theres a light” song, lighting cans of starting fluid(ether) in the front row. The local law enforcement got a little bent out shape about that one(with good reason), but it looked really cool…melted the girl playing Janets hair, but she thought it was funny…never understood why they still let me in the theater after that one…

The first time I saw RHPS was when I was about 6. I’ve seen it maybe nearly a thousand times on video, but I still have yet to get my ass up to West Palm Beach to catch it in the theater. Damn, Tim Curry looked hot in drag. ::snickers:: I have a poster of some of the cast over my bed around that throne-style chair. Hey, I think I may try to go do that for my birthday if I haven’t seen it live by then…

I got home from school today and I saw this thread and a smile came to my face. I missed it all this weekend, and I found out they are doing all of it tomorrow on VH1…I love Rocky Horror. I saw it 3 times this summer, the stage show of it…So thank you for making my day!
